St Kilda great, Ross Smith, was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame last night at the special celebration dinner at the Palladium Room in Melbourne.
Smith, who is a member of the St Kilda Hall of Fame, was inducted alongside other AFL past heroes Wayne Carey, Brian Dixon, Stan Heal, Tony Shaw and Gavin Wanganeen. Nine-time Fitzroy Best and Fairest Winner Kevin Murray was elevated to Legend status at the event.
The Australian Football Hall of Fame was established in 1996 and serves to recognise players, coaches, umpires, administrators, and media representatives who have made an outstanding contribution to Australian football.
