ST KILDA forward Adam Schneider will be be eligible for selection for this Saturday’s match against the Sydney Swans after accepting a reprimand from the Match Review Panel.

Schneider was charged with a level one offence for engaging in rough conduct with Brent Guerra during the third-quarter of the Saints round 20 clash with Hawthorn.

The charge was worth 125 demerit points (one match), however the 28-year-old is free to play after he elected to plead guilty to the charge. He also now 93.75 points on his record.

The match review panel assessed the incident as negligent conduct, low impact and high contact, totalling four activation points.

In other MRP news, the contact between Cyril Rioli and St Kilda’s Jarryn Geary in the first quarter was deemed insufficient for a reportable offence. As a result, no further action was taken.

Meanwhile, in a decision that affects St Kilda’s round 22 match against Gold Coast, Campbell Brown has been charged with a level three misconduct offence stemming from the Suns’ Saturday night encounter with Melbourne.

Even with an early plea, his three match sanction cannot be reduced below three weeks because of his poor record – thus ruling him out for the remainder of the season and potentially the first round of 2014.

The incident involving Brown and Melbourne’s James Strauss was assessed as reckless conduct, medium impact and high contact for a total of six activation points.
