Saints Salute our retiring champions
Justin Koschitzke, Stephen Milne and Jason Blake have all announced that 2013 will be their final season of AFL football. While it is sad to see these three members of the St Kilda family leave the club, we do have one last chance to send them off with the farewell they deserve. Justin, Stephen and Jason have all been tremendous servants of our proud club for more than 12 years. All three arrived at the Saints when we were a battling young team near the bottom of the ladder, but they were vital parts of the team that soon rose up the ranks to be a regular finals performer. They were all in the teams that played in the Grand Finals of 2009 and 2010 and played in the pre-season premierships of 2004 and 2008. Collectively, they have played 691 games and kicked 856 goals for the Saints and leave behind a wealth of experience and leadership that is not easily replaced.
At the end of the match, the three retiring players, as well as Club President Greg Westaway who is stepping down after 6 years, will be interviewed on the big screen so make your way to the Northern (Lockett) end of the ground for a presentation after the game.
You can also leave a tribute message for our three retiring players at the tribute wall located at the Gate 5 ticket booth on the concourse.
"Retro Round"
This weekend's Round 23 clash against Fremantle shapes as a significant match for our club. Three of St Kilda's finest servants in recent memory will bow out, and to celebrate the careers of Jason Blake, Stephen Milne and Justin Koschitzke we are urging ALL Saints fans to wear ‘retro' St Kilda gear from years gone by.
Whether it's a mid-80s woollen Guernsey, or a late 90s jumper with a black cross worn by these three stars in their early years - retro round is a time to reminisce, reflect and remember.
So dig deep into your oldest clothes drawer and pull out a pullover from those years where mud was as regular as Tony Lockett bag of goals. It's a matter of red, white and black!

It's open from 90mins before the game through until the end of halftime - and it's absolutely free! Solider On
The St Kilda Football Club has formed a new charity partnership with Solider On.
Soldier On is about Australians coming together to show their support for our physically and psychologically wounded; we will always have their backs.
They work to enhance recovery, inspire communities and empower Australia's wounded servicemen and women, giving those who have served our country the dignity they deserve and the chance to do and be whatever they choose.
It is a partnership that the entire club - from the playing group to our staff and board - have embraced.
