The St Kilda Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of highly regarded vocal coach Ricardo Rayme, as Head of Vocal Performance.

Ricardo, along with his assistant Todd are globally regarded as the world’s best singing teachers.

Ricardo and Todd bring with them a wealth of experience, having spent time on the RSL circuit, responsible for such productions as Richard Wilkins the Musical, and working with tribute bands for the likes of Nickelback and Jason Donovan.

St Kilda CEO Michael Nettlefold said of the pair joining the Saints “Ricardo and Todd’s appointments are significant. It is a world first for a sporting organisation, but something we feel is absolutely necessary for the betterment of our club.”

Disgruntled with the players’ lacklustre singing of the team song, Nettlefold hopes that Ricardo and Todd can bring a little spark to their post-match performance.

“Our wonderful song has become a joke, the players’ singing is appalling” he said.

“We’ve gone out and sort the best and we think Ricardo can turn this club around.”

After a week of vigorous vocal coaching the results have been plain to see.

This film is the St Kilda Football Club entry into the Virgin Australia Film Festival.

All AFL clubs were invited to submit a short film around the theme “going the extra mile” where three clubs will have the chance to win 30 returns flights to the US.

Should the Saints win, we will be able to send the entire team to Colorado to continue our High Performance Altitude Training.

How do we win? Simple – we need all Saints fans to watch our film on Virgin’s Facebook or Youtube page, and like, comment and share the video to all your friends. The film which receives the most views, likes, comments and shares will win!
