Thompson, who has played 248 games for Melbourne and Adelaide since debuting in 2001, was subbed off with a corked thigh at quarter time last weekend after collecting eight disposals in the first term.
He was replaced by debutant Matt Crouch who finished with 18 touches and four tackles in the 63-point defeat.
Kerridge was poked in the eye in the third quarter after running with Kieren Jack for much of the contest and didn’t return to the field.
Just two weeks short of his 21st birthday, Kerridge will be monitored this week but is expected to be fit to take on the Saints.
Grigg booted two goals against the Swans but is also under an injury cloud after reporting adductor soreness after the game. He and Porplyzia will face fitness tests this week after the Adelaide forward suffered a cork buttock in the SANFL.
Versatile defender Andy Otten (knee) and goal-kicker Tom Lynch (shoulder) will both miss the trip to Etihad Stadium and are 1-2 weeks away from a return.
25-year-old Brodie Martin could be in line to play his first AFL game since round 10 last year after collecting 26 disposals in the SANFL, while strongly-built midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen amassed 28 possessions and eight clearances and is considered a chance to debut in round four.
