The 22-year-old played 16 senior games in his first year at the club after beginning the season as a rookie, averaging 15 disposals and finishing ninth in the Trevor Barker Award.
“Re-signing for two years just gives me a bit of security now and I love the Saints and I’m happy to stay put,” Weller said.
“We’ve got some exciting youngsters coming through and if we do the work we should have some exciting times ahead.”

Weller was overlooked in last year’s trade and free agency period, but was picked up by St Kilda with pick 20 in the Rookie Draft.He was prolific in the VFL and earned forced his way into the senior team for the club’s round seven match against the Hawks.
Weller kept his spot for the rest of the year, establishing himself in the senior St Kilda team.
