Last week:

Sandringham bounced back from its round three narrow loss to the Northern Blues, toppling the Casey Scorpions by 34 points at Casey Fields.

Comparatively, the Frankston Dolphins went down to the Carlton-aligned Northern Blues by 18 points in a hard fought contest at Frankston Park.

Players to watch:

Sandringham – Tom Curren

The St Kilda-listed midfielder was highly influential in Saturday’s win over the Casey Scorpions, accumulating 31 disposals and 10 marks. Another performance like that will go a long way to ensure the midfield gets on top at Frankston Park.

Frankston – Ben Cavarra

The dynamic midfielder was the shining light in the loss to the Northern Blues, amassing 26 disposals, 7 tackles and hit the scoreboard 1.2. Cavarra, the Dolphins’ reigning best and fairest winner, will be one the Zebras will need to shut down if they’re to beat Frankston on Sunday.

Conditions:

Frankston Oval isn’t a long ground but has space on the wings for plenty of run and flare. The weather forecast is predicting a top of 16 degrees and mostly sunny.
