Exciting youngster Jack Sinclair has committed to St Kilda after signing a two-year contract extension.
The 20-year-old will be elevated to the Saints senior list for at least the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
His contract extension comes after last week’s news that defenders Dylan Roberton and Cameron Shenton had also re-signed.
Sinclair has made an immediate impact since making his debut against GWS in round one, and at the mid-way point of the season he is St Kilda’s third leading goal kicker this season with 11 majors.
Chief Operating Officer Ameet Bains said Sinclair’s two-year deal was just reward for an excellent 10-game stint after he forced his way onto the senior list for a round one debut.
“Jack has shown an immediate ability to play consistently at AFL level, so we are delighted that he can be rewarded with a two-year contract extension,” Bains told SAINTS.com.au
“The fact he will be properly elevated to the primary list at the end of the season is well-deserved for Jack and highly pleasing for the club.”

The strong-bodied forward was the number one pick at this year’s Rookie Draft, joining former Oakleigh Chargers teammates Jack Billings and Daniel McKenzie.
Sinclair and Billings have been lifelong friends, having played also played junior football together at the Kew Comets and also attending school at Scotch College.
Billings signed a three-year contract extension at the end of last season as part of the Saints Future Fest.
Sinclair’s family connection to the club spans 60 years, with his grandfather Bill Gleeson playing 14 games with St Kilda from 1955-56.
He said he was delighted to secure a spot on St Kilda’s primary list.
“I’m thrilled to be given a two-year extension. There is a great vibe around the club – it is a very young group and it is an exciting time to be around,” Sinclair said.
“The Saints are in my blood and have been part of my family for generations. There really is nowhere else I would want to be.”
