St Kilda remains in a healthy injury state with young defender Jimmy Webster available for selection this week and budding midfielder Jack Billings also a strong chance to return from injury.

Webster and Billings missed last weekend’s 34-point win over Fremantle at Etihad Stadium, due to illness and ankle issues respectively.

Saints GM of Football Performance Jamie Cox is buoyed by the state of medical affairs at Linen House Centre at the minute, with St Kilda having almost a full clean bill of health.

“Our injury list remains pretty strong. We look like having a full list to pick from this week. So it’s good news, we should have a pretty full list to pick from to go to Adelaide this week,” Cox told saints.com.au on Tuesday night.

Cox confirmed that Webster has recovered from the virus that forced him to miss the clash with the Dockers, whilst Billings trained well on Tuesday, but will need to prove his fitness on Thursday before being declared fit.

“News really from last week, Jimmy Webster missed with illness he was a reasonably late withdrawal given he was sick from Thursday and he didn’t quite get up for the game. He’ll be okay to pick from for this week,” Cox said.

“Jack Billings was the other one who tried really hard to get up for last week’s game. He didn’t get there in the end, so had the week off.

“Jack’s training really well, so whilst he’ll have to get through Thursday and train strongly, all indications are that he’ll be fine and back in the mix as well.”

St Kilda faces an in-form Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon, with the Crows coming off impressive wins over both expansion sides, Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast, in the last fortnight.
