Senior coach Alan Richardson has made two changes ahead of St Kilda’s clash with West Coast on Saturday night.
Rowan Marshall and Mav Weller return to the side that will travel to Perth, while Jake Carlisle and Luke Dunstan will miss through suspension and injury respectively.
Rowan Marshall stands at 201cm, and the 22-year-old’s experience playing as a defender could see him line up on one of the Eagles’ tall forwards in Darling and Kennedy in the absence of Carlisle.
Marshall has played just six senior games to date, but his size and aerobic capacity could prove crucial for the Saints as they look to topple the league leaders.
Mav Weller was forced to sit out the Richmond game due to a nasty head knock sustained at training.
But the pressure forward has been given the green light, and he’ll look to bring his experience and aggression to harass the West Coast defence.
Jake Carlisle will be restricted to the stands for the next two weeks as he serves a suspension, while Luke Dunstan wasn’t able to come up after a knock to the shoulder against Richmond.
