A clean run at it has been at the top of Hunter Clark’s wishlist for several seasons now, with 2023 a promising step in the right direction for the injury-hit mid.

While injury proved unavoidable for Clark last season (missing five weeks with a high-grade knee sprain), his extended time on-field reignited glimpses of the smooth-moving player who could dance his way out of congestion with seemingly effortless ease.

Clark charted his highest disposal numbers since his breakout season as a classy half-back in 2020, with eyes now on becoming a permanent member of the Saints’ on-ball brigade this season.

The No. 11 signed a two-year contract extension following the close of his successful return, tying him to the red, white and black until at least the end of 2025.
