St Kilda’s first competitive hit-out of Season 2022 is in the books, with Brett Ratten’s men to face Carlton at Ikon Park on Thursday 24 February.
The modified game – with quarter lengths and squad sizes determined by both the Saints and Blues – will be broadcast exclusively on Kayo Sports beginning from 10:00am.

“It’s been a very thorough and intensive pre-season so far, but this will be our first real test to see how we fare against opposition,” Chief Operating Officer Simon Lethlean said.
“This upcoming practice match will be an ideal lead-in to our AAMI Community Series match against Essendon in early March before we sharpen our focus towards Round 1.
“We look forward to seeing as many Saints fans down at Ikon Park next fortnight as we build momentum towards our season opener against Collingwood.”
St Kilda will face Essendon as part of the AAMI Community Series in the weeks following the scratch match against Carlton.
Tickets for next fortnight’s practice match are now on-sale, with juniors 17 years and under receiving free entry. All attendees must redeem a ticket to attend the match.
