Following the success of St Kilda's wheelchair and blind football sides in 2021, the club will host a Come & Try Day this Saturday as it looks to recruit new talent.
Tryouts for both sides (VWFL and VBFL) will take place on Saturday, 12th of March at RSEA Park with the AFL Blind session starting at 11:00AM and AFL Wheelchair starting at 12:30PM.
The first 30 minutes of each session will contain registrations, information-sharing and participants will hear from the VWFL and VBFL captains.
All who attend will then become eligible for the AFL Draft and the Saints will be entitled to first pick on players who attended come and try day.
If not drafted to the Saints, participants will have the opportunity to join the club's development teams, with an eye on enhancing participation in the sport.
The Saints are coming off their first ever VBFL premiership last season, while the VWFL side finished second off the back of their 2020 premiership win.
