St Kilda has made two changes ahead of Sunday’s clash against Richmond for the seventh annual Maddie’s Match at Marvel Stadium.

Veteran ruckman Paddy Ryder returns to the senior side, while Dougal Howard will also face the Tigers following a break under the AFL Health and Safety Protocols in Round 2.

Sunday will mark Ryder’s first senior appearance since Round 19 last season, after the No. 18 completed a successful return from Achilles soreness in the VFL last weekend.

Omitted Saints Ryan Byrnes, Darragh Joyce and last week’s medical sub Cooper Sharman make way for the incoming pair. 

Byrnes and Joyce join Ben Long and Dean Kent on standby as emergencies.

Marvel Stadium will once again be painted purple this Sunday, with Saints fans encouraged to play the part in latest Maddie’s Match merch. Head to Saints Locker online or visit our Merch Truck outside Gate 7 before the game.

St Kilda will host Richmond at Marvel Stadium on Sunday 3 April, with the opening bounce scheduled for 3:20pm.
