St Kilda Football Club will challenge Paddy Ryder’s two-game suspension for Engaging in Rough Conduct against Hawthorn’s Will Day on Sunday afternoon.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction as a first offence.
"We had until 11:00am this morning to assess the MRO's original decision, and feel this is the best course of action to undertake," Chief Operating Officer Simon Lethlean said.
The Tribunal will be held remotely tonight, Tuesday April 12, to determine the final outcome of the incident.
