The votes are in, and as decided by you, Mason Wood is this week's Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.

In what was one of the most important matches of the Saints’ season, Wood came to the party in arguably his best game for the red, white and black, slotting four goals off his classy left foot as well as grabbing 15 disposals.

Omitted from the side in Round 14, the 28-year-old has responded superbly since his return, kicking at least one goal in six of his last seven games and providing a dangerous option inside 50.

It has been a remarkable journey for Wood, who has gone from delisted Kangaroo to a vital part of St Kilda’s structure, appearing in 19 games in 2022 - the most he has ever played in a season.

Second in the votes is first-year Saint Marcus Windhager, who keeps on shining under the spotlight in just his 17th AFL game.

The 18-year-old has been a revelation for St Kilda, consistently stepping up to the challenges before him, with Friday night his biggest one yet – given the task of tagging Lachie Neale.

While some may have faltered under the pressure of going to the 2020 Brownlow medallist, who is averaging 30 disposals per game, Windhager showed no signs of fear as he restricted the Lions star to a season-low 16 touches.

Since making his debut in Round 4, Windhager has only missed one game, finding a niche in a tagging role where he has taken on the likes of Neale, Tim Kelly and Cam Guthrie.

Rounding out the votes is Jack Sinclair, who is starring in his role off half-back as he continues his push for a maiden All-Australian selection.

Often used as the connector to get the ball moving, Sinclair was once again at his best as he snared 25 disposals, seven intercepts, five inside-50s and 511 metres gained as he blazed across Marvel Stadium.

The No. 35 has been in sublime touch throughout the season, averaging 28 disposals and 515 metres gained, both ranked as elite by Champion Data.
