St Kilda Football Club has made an additional change to its Primary Listahead of the AFL’s List Lodgement Three deadline on Thursday.
 
Nick Winmar has been released from the final year of his playingcontract after discussions between Winmar, his management and the Clubover recent weeks.
 
“Late last week we advised Nick and his manager that we would bereleasing him from the final year of his contract with the St KildaFootball Club,” Head of Football Chris Pelchen said.
 
“This was a difficult decision, however we feel it is the right one forboth Nick and the Club. Nick has been a respected member of the Saintsover the past three years and we wish him every success for the future."

Winmar will be eligible to nominate for the AFL Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts on the 11th December 2012.
 
Winmar, 21, was drafted by the Saints at pick 32 in the 2009 AFL National Draft and has since played two senior games.
 
St Kilda Football Club is yet to determine whether it will utilise theadditional selection at the AFL Pre-Season or Rookie Drafts next month.
