Reigning Best & Fairest Bianca Jakobsson has become the first Saint of Season 7 to snare a perfect 10 coaches' votes following her assured display in defence against Hawthorn.
Jakobsson was a unanimous best-on-ground in the eyes of coaches Nick Dal Santo and Bec Goddard, with her composure and intercepting prowess a key factor in the Saints limiting their young opposition to just one goal for the game.
The newly appointed co-vice-captain didn't come off the ground once as the Saints went one down with the loss of Jayde Van Dyk, finishing the afternoon with 21 disposals, eight rebound-50s and eight intercepts to ward off the Hawks' forays forward.
Jakobsson spent a considerable portion of the game as the spare in defence, allowing her to pick off Hawthorn's entries as Clara Fitzpatrick and Bec Ott grappled Hawthorn's key target in Sarah Perkins.
Olivia Vesely received eight votes for her reliable efforts inside, levelling with Jakobsson for disposals (21) and intercepts (eight) before closing out Round 2 with a game-high 15 contested possessions.
Key forward Caitlin Greiser (three votes), Tarni White (two), Jess Matin (two) and Darcy Gutttridge (one) also received votes alongside Hawks Tilly Lucas-Rodd (three) and Tamara Smith (one).
White is the only Saint to register coaches' votes in the first two rounds of Season 7, polling nine votes for her fierce midfield performance against Sydney.
