St Kilda will be eyeing off a chance to enter the 2022 Grand Final this Sunday as it takes on Collingwood in the Second VWFL Semi-Final.
The Saints finished the 2022 season third on the ladder, having booked their spot in the finals series against Hawthorn nearly a month ago with a 50-point win in the inaugural Pride Round.
Despite a loss in the final game of the year to the second-placed Essendon, St Kilda will head into Sunday's clash buoyed by the return of skipper Ryan Smith, who is also the leading goalkicker for the competition after he missed the Saints' last game through injury.
Should the Saints win, they will move into the preliminary final later in the day to face the winner of Essendon and Hawthorn, which then will decide who goes through to the Grand Final to take on the top-of-the-table Richmond.
Couldn't get it done, but so proud of this side ❤️
