Hannah Stuart's sensational VFLW campaign has been rewarded with a place in the 2022 VFLW Team of the Year, along with podium finishes in VFLW Coaches' MVP and the Lambert-Pearce for the best and fairest player in the competition.
Stuart, drafted to St Kilda's AFLW side off the back of her brilliant season, was named alongside Southern Saints Winnie Laing, Grace Buchan and Tayla Kearns, with the red, white and black boasting the second-highest representation in the 21-woman line-up.
The forward-turned-midfielder led the VFLW for total disposals (405) by season’s end, averaging 23 touches, seven tackles and six clearances per game before joining teammate Deanna Jolliffe at St Kilda for Season 7.
Stuart polled 14 votes in the Lambert-Pearce Medal count to sit equal with Collingwood's Matilda Zander, with Essendon VFLW Premiership captain Georgia Nanscawen taking out the honour with 33 out of a possible 36 votes. She also finished runner-up to Nanscawen in the inaugural VFLW Coaches' MVP 69 votes to 63.
Since being drafted to St Kilda last June, the 28-year-old has featured in all three matches of AFLW Season 7 to-date and was inducted into the club's Emerging Leaders Group despite her limited time at RSEA Park.
