ALL OF THE STARS aligned THIS morning, with global superstar Ed Sheeran visiting the Saints at RSEA Park.
The visit was a surprise for Saints’ players to kickstart the club's 150th anniversary celebrations, seeing them HAPPIER than ever to have THE MAN, the myth, the legend at the club for the FIRST TIME.
To confirm that the red, white and black does indeed run through his BLOODSTREAM, Ed was presented with personalised guernseys for himself and his family.
Once everyone got over their initial FEELS and SHIVERS, it was time to put Ed’s HANDS OF GOLD to the test, taking him out to the oval for a kick.
DON’T worry, the players were told that while they couldn’t COLLIDE with the multi-platinum phenomenon, a SMALL BUMP was ok.
Luckily the Melbourne weather decided to STOP THE RAIN, putting on conditions befitting all the BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE in attendance.
Sheeran wasn’t afraid to DIVE right in, leaving others THINKING OUT LOUD as to whether he could take a new career path on THE A TEAM.
To cap off the PERFECT use of VISITING HOURS, the whole club came together for a PHOTOGRAPH.
It was a morning that all involved will remember for at least 1000 NIGHTS and one we hope to replicate next time Ed and his crew are in THE CITY.
