Jack Steele and Tim Membrey loom as significant inclusions for the Saints as they prepare to tackle Carlton in a top-four blockbuster at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The star pair will need to get through Friday's training session unscathed in order to make their senior returns.

Steele was last seen in Round 2 against the Bulldogs where the midfielder played through a broken collarbone to lead his side to a 51-point victory. Membrey is yet to feature in the AFL this year after returning from a knee complaint last week in the VFL.

Youngster Anthony Caminiti will miss the coming three weeks through suspension, making Membrey's likely return a timely one.

Cooper Sharman and Tom Campbell have also been named in the extended squad following strong VFL form.

St Kilda’s final line-up to face Carlton will be confirmed tomorrow evening at 5:00pm.
