Mitch Owens has entered concussion protocols after receiving a heavy hit in Sunday’s win against the Giants.
The 19-year-old was stretchered off just before half time after colliding with the knee of teammate Anthony Caminiti.
Pleasingly, the Rising Star nominee returned to the bench shortly after half time and did not require hospitalisation.
“It was a pretty sickening hit, so it was great to see Mitch up and about by the end of the game,” Acting General Manager of Football David Misson said.
“He’ll now undergo the standard concussion procedures and we’ll just take it one step at a time as he recovers.
“Similarly, Tim Membrey will be required to get through the final stages of concussion protocols to be eligible to play this weekend.”
