Tyanna Smith has netted St Kilda's first perfect 10-vote game for Season 2023, leapfrogging into third position on the Saints' coaches' votes tally with three games of the home-and-away season left to play.
The runner-up in the club's 2021 Best & Fairest has picked up where she left off after missing the past two seasons recovering from an ACL injury, showing her blend of class and grunt with 17 disposals (14 contested), eight tackles, six clearances and a goal to power her side to a 13-point victory over GWS.
Smith's 57 tackles and 21 inside-50s after seven games is the most of any Saint this season, with the 20-year-old second only to star recruit Jaimee Lambert for clearances (33), contested possessions (68) and ground-ball gets (46).
Jesse Wardlaw strengthened her standing with another five-vote game, as did midfield pair Georgia Patrikios (three votes) and Olivia Vesely (two).
Giants Zarlie Goldworthy and Alyce Parker rounded out the votes from Round 7, snaring eight and two to their name respectively.
