Ten Saints have been locked in for the 2024 AFLW Season, kicking off St Kilda’s first stretch of re-signings in preparation for the campaign ahead.
Nat Exon, Darcy Guttridge, Maddie Boyd, Beth Pinchin and Caitlin Matthews have all inked one-year extensions to play important hands in the upcoming season, with the 30-year-old Exon coming off arguably her best season at the Saints with club leading goalkicker honours and an equal-fifth finish at the 2023 Best & Fairest.
Meanwhile, trade recruits Steph Chiocci, Grace Kelly and Natalie Plane, plus Simone Nalder and Bec Ott are set to go around again, having a season still to run on their existing contracts.
“We’re really pleased to have all ten of these girls locked in for 2024,” Executive General Manager of AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“Each of these players bring a different strength to our group, both on an off the field, to make us better.
“We look forward to seeing what they can do next year.”
St Kilda will now look to finalise its playing list through the AFLW Draft on Monday 18 December.
