THREE delisted AFL players will train at St Kilda from today 5 until the National Draft.

Shaun McKernan and Jared Petrenko (both from Adelaide) and Jeremy Taylor (Gold Coast) will be put through their paces at Linen House Centre in the hope of earning a rookie or senior spot on the Saints list.

McKernan managed just two games for the Crows this season but played 34 in total for the club. This time last year the ruckman/forward entertained the option of returning home to Victoria via a trade, but elected to re-sign for the 2014 season.

The arrival of Eddie Betts hurt Petrenko this year, whose last game for the Crows was against Melbourne in round seven. The 24-year-old utility played 76 matches including the 2012 preliminary final.

Taylor was delisted after 10 games with the Gold Coast Suns and none since 2012. The mid-sized defender possesses excellent endurance and played TAC Cup at the Geelong Falcons.

Four Sandringham VFL players will also join the playing group during this time. They are Cameron Banfield, Elliot Le Grice, Jack Noone and Kenny Ong.

Tim Membrey was delisted by Sydney on Friday and will also commence his St Kilda duties this week. He, along with the three delisted free agents and the VFL players, were introduced to the coaches and 1-4 year players on Wednesday morning.

St Kilda has four selections in the National Draft and a further four in the Rookie Draft, with club already committing to taking Adam Schneider with one of these rookie picks.

The rest of the playing group will return to training on November 17.
