Jack Steele, Seb Ross and Bradley Hill have each received coaches' votes following Saturday's match against Essendon, with the latter pair receiving their first votes for the season.
Ross (four votes) was deemed his side's best at Marvel Stadium in the follow-up to his 200-game milestone, accruing 28 disposals, six clearances, 11 score involvements and a goal in the narrow loss which took the Saints' record to 1-2.

Steele (three votes) and Hill (two) similarly played their roles on the inside and outside respectively, with Steele now moving into second place on St Kilda's coaches' votes tally for 2024 after a five-vote performance against Collingwood last week.
Essendon's Andrew McGrath earned a game-high nine votes for his influential hand around stoppages, with midfield partner-in-crime Zach Merrett (five), Nick Martin (four), Dyson Heppell (two) and Xavier Duursma (one) adding to the Essendon-dominant line-up.
