From sporting stars from our game and beyond, family and friends and even pop icons, there are no shortage of role models our Saints look up to.

Ahead of this week's game against the Dockers, take a look at just who our Saints admire and the reasons why they are held in such high regard.

Nicola Stevens

My grandpa. He has an incredible perspective on life, a warm open heart and is always willing to help others and make people feel special. He has a refreshing outlook on life despite all he’s been through and still finds joyful moments worth celebrating.

Emmelie Fiedler

Ilona Maher. She isn’t afraid to be a “big girl” and breaks stereotypes of how women in sport should look like and by embracing her build and strength.

Olivia Vesely

Steph Gilmore. She loves what she does, is incredibly diligent, super cool, beats to her own drum and smiles hard!

Alice Burke

My dad because he’s done everything I hope to achieve and has been a humble person while doing it.

Maddie Boyd

My sisters. They’re the hardest workers and always give me the best advice.

Hannah Priest

Mum and Dad. The most supportive, kind, loving, go-getter, up and at ‘em generous parents a girl could ever ask for. I’ve been blessed with the best!

Rebecca Ott

Hannah Priest because I love her!

Paige Trudgeon

My Nanna, Patricia, because she has taught me how to be a strong, independent woman and inspires me every day.

J'Noemi Anderson

My mum. She’s worked so hard for my whole family.

Serene Watson

Tia Toomey. She is unstoppable and works harder than anyone to be the best.

My role model is my mum. She’s the kindest, most positive person I know and I’d love to be like her.
