Jaimee Lambert’s one-match suspension has been overturned, with the Tribunal this evening electing to void the Match Review Officer’s original findings.
Lambert’s contact with Greater Western Sydney’s Alyce Parker during the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s Round 7a match was originally deemed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact however the club, represented by Mr Adrian Anderson, was successfully able to argue for the full dismissal of the charge.
“We’re very pleased with tonight’s result and thank the Tribunal members for their time and expertise,” Executive General Manager of AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“Jaimee has been an important player for us this year, so we’re pleased to have her available for selection this week.”
Lambert said she was pleased with the outcome.
“I’m grateful for this result and thank the Tribunal for taking the time to consider my case," Lambert said.
“I look forward to getting back to training and preparing for a big game against Melbourne on Sunday.”
