Two key Saints will be looking to enter the selection fold this week as the team travels to Ballarat to face the Western Bulldogs in the second-last home and away game of the 2024 season.
Nat Exon (ribs) and Rebecca Ott (tibia) have both been categorised as tests going into Week 9, with the pair returning to full training duties in the hopes of proving their respective eligibility.
“It’s a positive sign to see both Nat and Bec re-join the full training group this week,” EGM AFLW Tessie McManus said.
“Whilst both girls have the ability to play integral roles for us at either end of the ground, we’ll ensure they’ve both reached full fitness before ticking off a return to play.”
On the rehab front, Nicola Xenos (heel) is recovering well post-surgery whilst Caitlin Matthews (knee) continues to make consistent progressions in her respective rehabilitation program.
