The future of St Kilda Football Club is looking bright, literally and figuratively, thanks to a partnership extension with AGL Energy until the end of the 2025 season. To recognise the occasion, AGL has sponsored the installation of solar panels across the RSEA Park precinct and at the Danny Frawley Centre at Moorabbin.

AGL, who has been a partner for the club for over three years, will also continue its official partnership with St Kilda’s AFL and AFLW teams under the new agreement.

“We’re very proud to be continuing this partnership with AGL and grateful for their support as we solidify a sustainable environment for long-term success,” St Kilda Chief Executive Officer Carl Dilena said.

“It’s really important for us to foster partnerships that not only positively impact our football programs but our community as well.

Through the assistance of AGL, we’re making RSEA Park and the Danny Frawley Centre more environmentally friendly and in-turn playing our part in shoring up the future of our community.

As the largest commercial and industrial solar provider in the country, AGL is committed to supporting their large business customers on their electrification journey and supporting them to meet their sustainability commitments.

“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with St Kilda Football Club and powering their operations with solar energy to help connect the Club to a sustainable future,” said AGL Group General Manager – Electrification & Innovation and Commercial & Industrial Customers, Ryan Warburton.

“As part of our partnership, we will be engaging with St Kilda’s business community, as well as offering energy deals for members and fans who choose AGL.”

The state-of-the-art 300 kW solar installation to the entire RSEA Park precinct was finalised at the end of September.
