The St Kilda Football Club is pleased to advise that it has selected three players in today’s AFL Rookie Draft.
The Club selected Eli Templeton from the Burnie Dockers with Pick 3 former Gold Coast Sun Maverick Weller with Pick 20.
Jason Holmes from Chicago USA was confirmed as an International Rookie with Pick 36.
As a result of Wednesday's AFL Rookie Draft, the Saints elected not to list Ahmed Saad as a Rookie at this time.
Saad understands and accepts the Club’s decision and he will continue to receive ongoing support and assistance from the Club while he serves his 18 month suspension.
The 24 year old’s welfare is of paramount importance and he will be in regular contact with St Kilda Football Club on this basis as he strives to return to the AFL for the 2015 season.
