Dean Kent will miss the rest of the 2019 season, following an injury to his quad in an incident at training today.
The 25-year-old left the track assisted by medical staff after going to ground following a kick.
“Scans show Dean has acquired a tear to the top of his left quadriceps muscle,” GM Football Simon Lethlean said.

“Unfortunately with injuries of this nature, you’re looking at a 10-12 week recovery period, so this will end Dean’s season.
“It’s really disappointing for Dean and the club, but we just have to ensure he has the best treatment and we support him and his young family as well as we can.”
Kent will meet with surgeons over the next few days to assess the next steps in his treatment.
