It was a disappointing finish to Season 2019 for the Saints, but Dan Hannebery stood tall to take out the Round 23 Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Round.
The former Swan battled hard against his old side to end his afternoon with 28 disposals (12 contested), seven clearances and five tackles.
After five games in the red, white and black, Hannebery has shown his importance to St Kilda’s future through his on-field class and commitment.
With hamstring issues now behind him, the 28-year-old is poised for a full and arduous pre-season, along with the rest of the Saints’ playing group.

Coming in second place is Jack Steele, whose toughness never wavered despite a lopsided second half.
The Canberra product notched up 27 disposals, seven tackles, six clearances and a goal to will the Saints into the contest.
It was mainly thanks to Steele that St Kilda had a fighting chance heading into the final stanza, with the midfield bull recording 11 of his 20 pressure acts in the third quarter alone.
Following Saturday’s performance, the No. 9 topped the league for total tackles (164) to pull three ahead of Elliot Yeo from one less game.

Rounding out this week’s voting is Seb Ross, whose 27 disposals at 85% efficiency and two goals kept the visitors in the hunt.
The stand-in skipper’s leadership has grown exponentially in the absence of Jarryn Geary, with his on-field output benefitting as a result.
Ross has averaged 26 disposals, four clearances and four inside-50s per game this year.
St Kilda finish Season 2019 in 14th position with nine wins and 13 losses.
