Witness history in the making as one Saint writes his name into the record books, joining champions Robert Harvey, Nick Riewoldt and Nathan Burke as part of club royalty.

The evening will also include a special tribute to club legend Danny Frawley, who tragically passed away on Monday.

Hosted by Alicia Loxley and Nick Dal Santo, Wednesday night’s Trevor Barker Award is certainly not one to miss.

The 2019 Trevor Barker Award will commence from 7.20pm on Wednesday, 11 September, from Crown Palladium.

Stewart Loewe and Robert Harvey tribute

Former teammates and close friends of the late Danny Frawley, Stewart Loewe and Robert Harvey, pay their respects to the legendary Saint.

"I adored him first as my teammate, then as my skipper, and then as one of my closest mates." - Stewart Loewe.

Michael Roberts and Nathan Burke reminisce

Close mates and fellow Saints Michael Roberts and Nathan Burke share some stories about the boy from Bungaree.

"He didn't sit on people's heads like Barks did, he didn't kick goals like Plugger did, but he gave us heart and soul." - Nathan Burke.

Vale, Danny Frawley

The red, white and black came together as one to acknowledge the life and times of the universally-loved Danny Frawley with a special video tribute.

Andrew Bassat

St Kilda Football Club President Andrew Bassat addresses the room, thanking Alan Richardson for his enormous contribution to the Saints, along with the Club Board, staff, volunteers and loyal members who are the lifeblood of the red, white and black.

"We saw players such as Jack Steele, Jack Billings and Jade Gresham raise the bar. Others such as Rowan Marshall, Hunter Clark and Josh Battle - all with less than 50 games - emerged not only as champions of the club, but stars of the competition." - President Andrew Bassat.

But even with the many positives, Bassat implored there is a great deal left to do.

"The hard word of everyone at the club gives us cause for optimism, but we can't ignore there's still work to do."

Brett Ratten

Welcomed to the stage with a thunderous applause, Senior Coach Brett Ratten was grateful for the opportunity to lead the red, white and black into the future.

"I'm so looking forward to coaching the St Kilda Football Club and so honoured to get another crack at it." - Brett Ratten.

He acknowledged the silver lining amid a season full of significant injury and sweeping changes, noting Seb Ross, Callum Wilkie and Rowan Marshall for their extraordinary seasons.

"With adversity, we had opportunity."

But there's still plenty more to do, and Ratten urged the red, white and black to hit the ground running come day one of the pre-season.

"Our time is to rise now, to create the foundation for success."

Goal of the Year

Jack Lonie's brilliant bender from the boundary against the Western Bulldogs was deemed the best goal of the 233 kicked for the season.

Sean Dempster thanks David Armitage

Former teammate and housemate Sean Dempster salutes the superb career of David Armitage and his 13 years of service for the red, white and black.

David Armitage took to the stage to thank the St Kilda Football Club, his coaches and his family for all their support during his time at Moorabbin.

Trevor Barker Award leaderboard: Rounds 1-10

Shane Savage tops the Trevor Barker Award after the first 10 rounds, with Jade Gresham and Seb Ross rounding out the top-three.

The Saints started the season on fire winning four of their first five games, before a tough month didn't result in another win until Round 10.

Callum Wilkie, Matty Parker, Robbie Young and Jonathon Marsh made their first appearances in the red, white and black, while Seb Ross, Jade Gresham, Jack Billings, Jack Steele and Rowan Marshall all exploded onto the scene in the opening weeks.

St Kilda's Rising Stars

Hunter Clark, Nick Coffield, Max King, Callum Wilkie and Josh Battle joined Nick Dal Santo on stage to share some stories about their careers, strange habits and the future of the red, white and black.

Mark of the Year

Jack Bruce's gravity-defying screamer against the Bombers in Round 2 earned him the Mark of the Year for the red, white and black.

Dare Iced Coffee Sainter of the Year

The fans have spoken, and Rowan Marshall takes out the fan-voted award for the best player of the season by a single vote!

Trevor Barker Award leaderboard: Rounds 11-18

A historic trip to China was on the cards, but it wasn't an international outing to remember after the Saints went down and skipper Jarryn Geary broke his leg.

The Saints notched up their first win against the Suns following a Jack Billings masterclass, while Hunter Clark's return was a highlight for the remainder of the season.

Dan Hannebery made his first appearance in Saints colours, joining Jake Carlisle who had missed a great deal of the season through a back injury.

Alan Richardson parted ways with the Saints following Round 16, leaving Brett Ratten to take the reins as caretaker coach.

It was a solid debut fortnight for Ratten, with the red, white and black notching up back-to-back wins against the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne.

Doulton Langlands and Nicholas Hind also made their debuts in this time, with both booting a goal in their first games.

Parker takes out best Celebration of the Year

Matty Parker brought his best against the Blues, with his memorable celebration in Sir Doug Nicholls Round earning him the award for Celebration of the Year.

Battle secures best Tackle of the Year

Josh Battle's toughness was rewarded with the best Tackle of the Year, with his crunching tackle on West Coast's Liam Ryan whipping the St Kilda faithful into a frenzy.

Marshall takes out Best Emerging Player

It was a superb year for the Portland product, who took out the award for the best emerging player of 2019.

Marshall's breakout season delighted the St Kilda faithful all year, with his elevation off the rookie list last season resulting in a rapid rise up the ranks.

The 23-year-old was among the best performers each and every week, with star performances against Hawthorn, Richmond and Port Adelaide.

Gears wins Robert Harvey Best Clubman Award

Skipper Jarryn Geary wouldn't let anything keep him down in 2019, with his strong leadership and uncompromising standards seeing him win the Robert Harvey Best Clubman Award.

Despite requiring emergency compartment surgery in Round 5 and then breaking his leg in Round 11 after a miraculous return, the No. 14 refused to let the time on the sidelines weigh him down or limit his output.

The Prospect makes it three with the Lenny Hayes Players' Player Award

Marshall was everywhere on the Saints' night of nights, earning himself the Lenny Hayes' Players Player Award thanks to his courage, commitment and heart throughout the year.

The Prospect topped St Kilda's contested possessions, centre clearances and hitouts counts, while coming in second for total clearances.

Trevor Barker Award leaderboard: Rounds 19-23

The Saints were still a slim chance to make the finals, and Brett Ratten was determined to make the final weeks of the season count.

Jack Steven made his long-awaited return against Fremantle, pulling together a best-on-ground performance with three goals and 22 disposals to inspire the Saints to a three-point win.

Sam Rowe notched up his 100th game in the final round of the year, but the Saints weren't able to take home the four points.

The red, white and black finished in 14th position on the ladder with nine wins.

Seb Ross snares second Trevor Barker Award 

Consistent, reliable and incredibly hard-working, Seb Ross' superb season was rewarded with his second Trevor Barker Award. 

Ruckman Rowan Marshall finished in second place, while tough-as-nails Jack Steele rounded out the podium finish.

While the No. 6 was honoured at receiving the award, he reminded everyone that the night was all about Spud.
