First-year Saint Tilly Lucas-Rodd has taken out the Southern Saints’ 2019 best-and-fairest award.
The trustworthy defender polled 99 votes, while a single vote separated podium finishers Olivia Vesely (81) and Cat Phillips (80).
Samantha Johnson and Kelly O’Neill rounded out the top-five.
Lucas-Rodd enjoyed a superb season in the red, white and black, topping Thursday night’s count despite playing only 13 out of a possible 17 matches.

The 23-year-old previously played 18 games for Carlton’s AFLW side across three seasons before making the move to Moorabbin.
It’s been a change which has seen plenty of success, with the versatile Saint doing her best work in defence after spending time as an in-and-under midfielder and small forward.
Lucas-Rodd was incredibly consistent throughout the year and averaged 19 disposals, four tackles and three marks per game, saving her best for last with vote-topping performances in the Saints’ qualifying and semi finals.
Her sensational campaign was also recognised competition-wide with a place in the VFLW Team of the Year.
Fellow Team of the Year inductee and runner-up, Olivia Vesely, starred in her maiden season in the red, white and black.
The 19-year-old midfielder was frequently among her side’s best contributors, averaging 18 disposals and four tackles per game to take out the league’s Rising Star award.
AFLW: Inaugural list builds towards 2020
Endurance machine Cat Phillips paired excellently with Vesely and often sparked the Saints through the midfield.
The ultimate frisbee star polled four 10-vote games before missing Rounds 11-15.
