Tim Membrey will miss this Sunday’s clash with Geelong at GMHBA Stadium with knee soreness.
The mobile forward was a late withdrawal from Round 3 after experiencing pain in his right knee during training last weekend.
The Saints remain hopeful the 23-year-old will miss just this Sunday’s match, with a training session late this week to dictate his availability for the Round 5 clash against GWS.
In better news for the Saints, Billy Longer and Mav Weller are on track to make their return after training strongly today.
The pair missed last weekend with niggles and would provide Alan Richardson and his coaching team with some flexibility at the selection table.
Another positive from today was the sight of Nathan Freeman joining the main group for part of the training session.
Unfortunately, Daniel McKenzie will miss at least one match after a suffering a concussion playing for Sandringham on Saturday.
Rookie Doulton Langlands is also unavailable as he overcomes a bout of glandular fever.
