St Kilda midfielder Luke Dunstan has again put his name up for an AFL recall, following a standout performance in Sandringham’s 49-point loss to Footscray on Sunday.
Dunstan, 22, was in top form at Trevor Barker Oval, finishing with a game-high 38 disposals and seven tackles that also included eight inside
“Luke Dunstan was really strong for us and we know what he brings to the side given his AFL experience through the midfield,” VFL coach Lindsay Gilbee told saints.com.au.
“He’s strong, tough and we’re really pleased he’s hitting the scoreboard as well.
“He wants to be playing regular AFL football and performances like today puts him right in the selection frame.”
