The momentum at St Kilda Football Club continues to gather pace with the Saints achieving their target of 31,000 members nine days before the goal of 31 December 2016.

Today the club has surged past 31,000 members, which is the fastest the Saints have reached this mark in club history. This places the club in a really good position as we aim for an overall 42,000 members in 2017.

CEO Matt Finnis thanked all members saying it was exciting to see so many people supporting the club’s direction.

“We are thrilled that so many members have already committed for the 2017 season – including thousands of new members – and we encourage those fans who are yet to sign up to be part of our journey” Finnis said.

“We are confident we are heading in the right direction both on and off the field and we’re focused on continued improvement in all facets of our business.”

Today’s milestone is another highlight in a promising off-field period for the Saints, complemented by the recent re-signing of several players inlcuding Jack Newnes, Tim Membrey and Jade Gresham.
