JACK Newnes will notch his 50^th AFL game this weekend as St Kilda takes on Collingwood at the MCG on Friday night.

The number 37 pick in the 2011 national draft was influential in St Kilda’s win against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium last Saturday night amassing 23 possessions.

The wingman played 22 games last year and was inducted into the St Kilda leadership group prior the start of the 2015 season.

Nick Riewoldt will also notch a milestone this weekend, playing his 185^th game as skipper which places him 6^th on the list for most games played as club captain, overtaking retired North Melbourne champion Wayne Carey.
