Seb Ross
Seb was close to best on ground with 26 touches. His clearance and body work was good all day and his ability to get the ball moving our way in the last quarter was clinical. He got us going.
Cameron Shenton
Cam did well when the backline was under the pump. His efforts using his legs and switching the play really helped us regain the momentum in the second half. He didn’t get beaten in one-on-one contests either.
Blake Acres
Blake fumbled a little bit early but as the game wore on he got better and cleaner. He ended up kicking three goals from the wing and midfield which was an outstanding return. His ability to work opponents over and outrun them is how he beats them.
Darren Minchington
Darren got to work in the second half and his best quarter was the last quarter. The best part of his game was his defensive effort – he had seven tackles for the match. He gave us leg speed through the middle.
Josh Saunders
Josh played that small forward role and had three shots on goal. He also spent some time on the wing and had a solid game.
Nathan Wright
Nathan was good across half-back. He’s a very physical player and he put great pressure on the Richmond forwards on Saturday. Offensively he also contributed, registering five inside 50s.
Tom Hickey
Tom played more in the ruck this week and had 30 hit outs. It was his best game for a while and I was really impressed with his willingness to crack in at ground level as well.
Tom Lee
Tom was very solid in defence. Defensively he was rarely beaten and used the ball via foot cleanly and efficiently.
Daniel Markworth
Dan had a quieter game on the weekend but did look dangerous at certain times. He spent most of the game on the wing.
Daniel McKenzie
Dan came back from having a virus and was a little bit rusty at times with his disposal. He got in the right spots and worked hard and I’m sure he will be more polished after the bye.
Luke Delaney
Luke had a solid game. He didn’t get a lot of the ball and that’s an area we are working on with him. As a big fella, he put on some good pressure with five tackles.
Tim Membrey
Tim made the most of his opportunities with three goals. While the tackle count doesn’t show it, his pressure was terrific in our forward half.
Jason Holmes
We played Jason as a forward this week. He had 16 hit outs but for him it’s about adding more strings to his bow. We know he can ruck, so the next step is to see if he can be dangerous up forward. He presented well and brought the ball to ground for the smaller players.
Spencer White
Spencer kicked a goal but only had five disposals. His effort was reasonable, but we just need him to influence more contests.

DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
Ahmed Saad
Ahmed’s attitude was terrific on the weekend. He kicked four goals and showed great leadership with some of the younger guys.
Arryn Siposs
Because it was such a windy day, Arryn played in defence when we were kicking against it and in the midfield when we were kicking with it. He worked hard and got his fair share of the ball.
Brenton Payne
Brenton played up forward and took a couple of nice marks. His development is going well.
Lewis Pierce
Lewis had an excellent game in the ruck, winning most of the hit outs and contributing around the ground.
Joe Baker-Thomas
Joe had another solid performance in defence. His one-on-one work is very good, the next step is for him to join in more offensively.
Boys sing the song. Last quarter most dominant Zebs have been all season. Scary good. #GoZebs pic.twitter.com/Iv2XJcag59
