St Kilda will add four to its extended bench ahead of Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena.

Nathan Brown, David Armitage, Sam Rowe and Jack Newnes will all be considered to return against the Roos in the hopes of securing the club’s seventh win of the season.

The height of Brown and Rowe in particular could be employed against the Roos’ tall timber, with the duo starring in last week’s VFL encounter against Richmond.

Brown’s leadership to complement his 18 disposals and five marks was invaluable in the wet, while Rowe’s assuming of the number one ruck role resulted in 52 hit-outs.

Newnes, meanwhile, could find himself back in the line-up after his 123-game streak at senior level came to an end last week.

The wingman finished his afternoon with 25 disposals – 10 of which were racked up in the second quarter – to be one of the best afield against the Tigers.

David Armitage was the carryover emergency for Maddie’s Match and could add some experience to the Saints’ midfield should he be selected as part of the final 22.
