The pair spoke to saints.com.au exclusively about their wedding day before jetting off to Waco, Texas, where the ceremony will be held.
"That's where a lot of my family has gone to college. So my parents have a place out there on the river in the country so we will have a big southern Texas wedding so it will be good, it will be exciting," Catherine said.
"The ceremony's actually taking place in a pecan grove in front of the house so that will be gorgeous I hope, but it will be a very natural look because I'm not too over the top with anything - my mother however is pushing for the big decorations!"
Nick is hoping the big day goes to plan, revealing Cath doesn't cope so well in a crisis.
"I would say she is not so cool in a crisis, if anything ever goes wrong, Cath tends to have a bit of a meltdown," Nick said.
"I don't even want to contemplate (the thought of anything going wrong), it will be a disaster!"
Nick also thanked the St Kilda faithful for their support and congratulations, finishing the interview with a hint of what's planned after the wedding…
"Hopefully we can get our act together and start pumping out some little father-sons soon."
