Our inaugural women's team is one step closer to making its historic debut after naming a 23-woman squad for its maiden match.
The red, white and black will make its long-awaited return this Sunday 9 February to RSEA Park, Moorabbin, for the opening round of the 2020 AFLW Season.
Co-captains Cat Phillips, Kate Shierlaw and Rhiannon Watt have all been named to take on the Bulldogs, while exciting youngsters Georgia Patrikios, Olivia Vesely and Tarni White have also been selected.
Caitlin Greiser and Clara Fitzpatrick are set to man the key posts at their respective ends of the ground.
Check back into saints.com.au from 4pm this Friday to view the final team of 21.
