Captain Jarryn Geary has overcome the odds to return to the senior line-up ahead of Thursday night’s clash against Carlton.
The 32-year-old was in doubt given the amended five-day turnaround for Round 5, but has pieced together a solid block of training to confirm his availability.
Geary will come in for Zak Jones, who is set to miss one week through hamstring tightness.
Jack Sinclair, Nicholas Hind, Paddy Ryder and draftee Ryan Byrnes have been selected as emergencies, with the latter bolting into the selection frame following two impressive scratch matches against the Magpies and Tigers.
Non-selected Saints will take part in a practice match against Carlton at Ikon Park this Friday afternoon.
St Kilda will face Carlton in Thursday night’s prime-time fixture at Marvel Stadium, with the opening bounce set for 7:40pm.
