Ryan Byrnes and Paddy Ryder will join the red, white and black in its task of toppling Adelaide on Monday night at Adelaide Oval.

Byrnes is the second-youngest member of St Kilda’s squad at 19 years of age, while Ryder tops the Saints’ list of experienced campaigners with 246 senior games across 14 seasons.

Jonathon Marsh (omitted) and Ben Long (suspension) will make way for the pair, with Brett Ratten adamant on a much-improved performance following last weekend’s match against Fremantle.
