Chocolate Custard
Serves 2
The Chocolate Custard transforms this classic treat into something healthier.
Packed with goodness for the whole family, the custard is made with Dairy Farmers A2 Goodness Chocolate Milk, which contains 25% less sugar than regular chocolate milk.
No matter your age, nutrient-rich dairy options as part of a balanced diet are a great way to nourish your body, and because it’s low in sugar, Jarryd and Pippa sometimes sneak in a glass while they wait!
Ingredients
500 mL Dairy Farmers A2 Goodness Chocolate milk
2 eggs
30g cornflour
Sliced Banana
Method
Place milk in saucepan and begin heating over low heat.
Meanwhile, lightly beat eggs with cornflour and a dash of the milk.
Add the egg mixture to the remainder of the milk in the saucepan.
Whisk gently over medium heat for approximately 10 minutes or until thickened to desired consistency.
Serve with sliced banana and enjoy!
*Tip: substitute poached pears with banana slices for an equally delicious and nutritious option
