The Saints hit the track today as preparations ramp up for next weekend’s elimination final.
With AFL umpires officiating, the Saints took part in two halves of match simulation, played in hot and windy conditions.
Midfielder Zak Jones completed training with the main group and showed no signs of a recent hamstring injury.
Jones missed one match with a similar issue earlier in the season and looks on track to return for the Bulldogs clash.
Fresh from All-Australian honours last night, Jack Steele sat out match simulation, instead competing a series of drills and running alongside Tim Membrey, Hunter Clark and Jack Lonie.
The quartet pushed hard in the solid session with Lonie clearly improving throughout with his speed and movement.
Utility Josh Battle was on light duties as he overcomes soreness but is expected to train next week.
