Allison a Saint
St Kilda has selected Calder Cannon Matthew Allison with its first-round selection of the 2020 National Draft.
The 194cm key forward was taken at pick No. 26 – originally pick No. 21 before being pushed down the order by several matched Academy bids.
Allison is strong overheard, is armed with a good kick and boasts the ability play down back or push up onto the wing.
The 18-year-old points to St Kilda champion Nick Riewoldt and North Melbourne/West Coast forward Drew Petrie as players he has modelled his game off.

Saints jump up the order
A swap of selections has seen the Saints move up the draft order, with picks No. 54 and a future fourth-rounder (received from Richmond as part of the Jack Higgins deal) departing to Hawthorn in for pick No. 43 exchange.

Highmore earns his shot
Mature-age recruit Tom Highmore has officially joined the red, white and black after being picked up with pick No. 45.
St Kilda snared the 22-year-old after moving up the draft order courtesy of a pick swap (pick No. 54 and a future fourth-round selection) with Hawthorn.
The intercepting defender pieced together a strong campaign for South Adelaide in 2020 after overcoming a mid-season ankle injury, taking command of the airwaves through his clean marking.
Highmore similarly offers spring out of the back half and isn't shy in terms of courageous acts on-field.
