St Kilda will be in line to regain defensive trio Bianca Jakobsson, Tamara Luke and Selena Karlson, but will be without Molly McDonald for Friday night’s clash with the Cats.
The young winger re-injured her left quad following Saturday’s match against the Blues, with the setback forcing her to the sidelines for at least three weeks.
Jakobsson (corked back) has recovered exceptionally well and will be available for selection after commencing non-contact training tonight.
Fellow defender Luke (hamstring) will also throw her hat into the ring for a Round 4 call-up, while Karlson (shins) will make her return through the VFLW this weekend on restricted minutes.
Meanwhile, Nadia von Bertouch is in some doubt for Friday night after developing pain in her plantar fascia over the past week.
The steely utility was twice injected for pain relief during last week’s game, but has since pulled up sore.
Midfielder Olivia Vesely (calf) has commenced running after an extended lay-off, while Nicola Xenos is booked in for surgery on her ruptured left ACL tomorrow morning.
